The methodology to assess the climate resilience of SWEs is based on 2 key parameters:
- The water climate risks: combination of current water climate risk and expected climate change impact
- The resilience enablers, or ability to respond to water climate risk, through financial ecosystem support, market vibrancy and institutional strength.
The combination of these two parameters provides a classification of the world into 7 unique “climate resilience segments”.
